Sedinha Teßendorf:
Geboren in Berlin. Studium der Hispanistik, Linguistik und Neuerer Deutscher
Literatur an der FU Berlin und der Universidad Complutense in Madrid, 2005 Magistra
Artium. Abschlussarbeit: „Pragmatische Funktionen spanischer Gesten am
Beispiel des gesto de barrer.“ Vorträge zum Thema u.a. im BGC Berlin
und an der Europa Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. Forschungsinteressen
in kulturvergleichender Gestikforschung, Sprach- und Kulturgrenzen, Konventionalisierungsprozessen,
Semiotik von Gesten und linguistischer Pragmatik. Seit Oktober 2006 wissenschaftliche
Mitarbeiterin im VW Projekt „Towards a Grammar of Gesture“ an der
Europa Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder.
